The Vision of Rivers of Life Church International is to teach the Inspired Word of God with power and simplicity. Ministering the Word of Faith to the whole man thereby changing lives. To equip the Believer to live according to the Word of God manifesting the Glory of God in their homes, church, communities, surrounding areas, State, and the Nations.
~ Our Purpose ~
~To teach and preach the Word of God to people everywhere so they know they can be saved, have victorious living, and be the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
~ Our Goals ~
~ Proclaim the inspired message of the Kingdom to the local community, state, and the nation. That message is we are over-comers of sickness, disease, and poverty. As believers we are on top and not the bottom, living the abundant life prescribed by the anointed one and his anointing, Jesus Christ.
~ Acquire a facility that will accommodate the goals of the ministry to provide help to the body and the community. Update: 2008 / Purchased a 6,000 sq ft facility in our city.
~ Establish a Counseling and Rehabilitation program to match the needs of the community. Update: 2004 / we provide pastoral counseling for married couples. 2008: Provide spiritual encouragement through outreach to Women in Prison ministry.
~ Train and educate the community on how to obtain and maintain employment.
~ Establish a means of meeting the need for short term food supplies within the community. Update: 2004 / Our Missions Outreach provides: Food & temporary shelter for families in the community when requested, Financial support to World Mission of Feed the Children, Mission of Hope in Africa, and the NWLA Food Bank.
~ Provide an educational program for middle school to high school students to assist in their development as the next generations of leaders. Update: 2008 / Our educational staff holds an annual free Summer Tutoring Program to equip children grades K-12, for the up-coming school year.
What We Believe
At Rivers of Life Church International, We believe that Jesus Christ is The Son of God and that He shed his blood, was crucified, buried, on the third day he arose from the dead, ascended on high, and took His seat at the right hand of God The Father Almighty until His enemies become His footstool.
We believe in the rapture, that the dead in Christ will rise first and that those that are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.
We believe that after death, eternal life begins either in Heaven or in hell; where one spends eternity is based on their decision to live according to God’s words and commandments or to rebel and deny His words and commandments.
We believe that the Bible is the written Word of God inspired by God. We believe that faith is acting out on the Word of God and it is by the Word of God that we receive blessings.
We believe in divine healing and that Jesus is the Healer and that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed!
We believe in honoring God with our tithes and offerings. We also believe in giving alms and caring for the poor, sick, homeless, etc.
We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the name of Jesus and the authority invested in that name. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
